Carthen Furniture of Clarencefield, near Dumfries in South West Scotland, originally opened in 1991, and was known as "Wood 'n' Furniture", selling a wide range of pine and beech furniture. Changing the name to Carthen Furniture in 2007, we have now developed and expanded to sell an even wider range of wooden furniture adding oak and ash to the range.

Still stocking and supplying a wide range of pine and beech furniture from kitchen tables and dressers to beds and wardrobes. We now sell a comprehensive range of oak, both contemporary and classic, for all the rooms in the home and a range of ash in bedroom furniture.

Currently we acquire our stock from a number of companies in the UK.

This enables us to offer a very comprehensive, but select range of stock to our customers, including a huge selection of styles and finishes in all ranges of furniture for your home or business.

The stock we choose to sell is of the highest quality available, at very competitive prices. Care is taken to find stock that is made traditionally with solid wood, dovetail joints and solid draw bottoms.
